I really liked the pictures that Nick had taken and Shanyse's initial ideas, however, i had another idea in mind as a film poster. I had found the Sweeney Todd poster very interesting, the concept of Johnny Depp sitting on a chair looking, mysterious, significant and in charge really seems to strike me.

This poster helped mould an idea in my head, i thought that it would be very appealing, and strike the audience if we have an image of Eugene (Brett) sitting on a chair, tied up with his hands behind the chair, which will give an ambiguous effect and makes Eugene look more vulnerable, with Nicks (Deans) hand pushing pressure on Eugenes shoulder, which depicts that he is the peson in charge. I think this definately fits the thriller convention as it is suspensive and ambiguous. My teacher really liked this idea and encouraged us to use this, however the pictures that Nick had taken were also very effective, and i didnt want them to go to waste, therefore i suggested that we intersperse Stephanies face in the background, but in a ghostly/blurred effect, merging with the background.

So we decided to do a mock up of how we would convey this idea. Me, Holly, Shanyse and Alex played around with different motions, face expressions and stances we could possibly use, we evidently came up with good ideas, it looked realistic and definitely complimented the effect we endeavor to portray to our audience. This is an picture that Shanyse had taken of us experimenting the different poses.
