In this first shot we are aqauinted with the main two characters Mia (Stephanie) and Brett (Eugene), we decided to have a medium shot of Brett purposing to Mia, this was to show the viewer that they are in a relationship. We decided to insert a caption in white contrasting against a black background, this makes it stand out and look significant, the font itself is very simple however it is effective, the captions reads a question, 'What would you do if...' the 'if' creates suspense, tension and questions the reader involving them in the trailer. 
After the suspensive question, we have a shot of our villian Dean (Nick), the viewer can immediately regconise him as being the villian, his facial expression and body language emphasize on this, as he depicts a look of authority and control, his grey hoody and the seriousness portrayed in his face makes him a stereotypical badboy gangster. Additionally the lighting is very dark and blunt, which helps create pathetic falacy, as the background and lighting helps reflect the mood of this character aswell as his dark character.
